Greetings from the Emmaus Centre,
In the light of An Taoiseach’s unprecedented announcement yesterday, the new norms promulgated by the Irish Episcopal Conference, and our duty of care to participants, visitors, programme providers, staff, and our community, we have taken the decision to close the Emmaus Centre to the public from 5:00pm on Friday, the 13th of March until Monday, the 20th of April 2020. For the time being, we will have some administrative staff working to ensure a smooth closure and to assist in meeting the needs of our customers. The best way to contact us is by email at [email protected] Like all of us, we will continue to monitor the ever-emerging situation and offer periodic updates on our website at www.emmauscentre.ie and Facebook page.
I’m sure, given the extraordinary circumstances, you understand this decision and I offer my apologies for any disruption, disappointment, or inconvenience this may cause. Please take care of yourselves and those close to you who may be particularly vulnerable or without assistance. I trust that we will weather this storm and firmly believe that now is the time to trust in God’s love and closeness to us during this storm.
Take care of yourselves and God bless you,
The Emmaus Centre
