Emmaus Sessions | Open Mic Night

A chilled-out night of lovely live music with a handful of very gifted musicians from across Dublin, for young adults (20’s - 35’s). “The purpose of art is nothing less than the upliftment of the human spirit.” Pope John Paul II We’re looking to start a little revolution. Great music, and a venue for community and seeking beauty together, taking time to nourish our hearts with great friendships and lovely sounds. On Friday 26th April, at the Emmaus Centre, a beautiful retreat centre in Swords, Dublin, we’re gathering together a handful of gifted musicians from across Dublin to put on a night of uplifting, diverse music. We’ll also have the possibility of anyone who comes being able to come up and share a tune too. A chilled-out evening, to hang out with and meet some lovely people, receive, and just have a bit of craic too.

'Choosing Happiness' Workshop will offer spiritual and practical insights across all the dimensions of the human person, including the spiritual, emotional, relational, physical, and mental components -- as well as how we relate to God, to others, and to ourselves. In this programme, Fr Brian will delve into the big spiritual questions surrounding how we value our lives, purpose, and motivations and how to cultivate happiness in those areas. Fr. Brian’s  will provide a multi-faceted approach to finding happiness in the midst of the trials and struggles of life.
