We live in a world that is frequently busy and often seems to run at a non-stop pace. Even just needing to take some time out can be immensely rewarding.
On Saturday, 12th August, Counsellor and Psychotherapist Maeve Peoples will explore the use of Meditation & Art to access core thoughts, emotions and insights.
Creative Meditation is a one-day programme that offers an introduction to meditation, allowing us time to reflect and be still. By focusing the mind on the task of drawing and expressing creatively, we can learn how to reach a meditative state. Meditation through art is traditionally a natural and integral aspect of spiritual paths, it offers us a simple but effective path through the stresses of modern life. It helps with depression, trauma and recovering from illness.
No previous experience of meditation or art training is required and all art materials are provided.
